MSU & U - We Mean Business!
On June 20, 2007, the MSU Alumni Club of Mid-Michigan launched the new business networking program titled “MSU & U – Open for Business.” In a joint effort with the MSU Federal Credit Union, the event was held at the South Lansing MSUFCU branch. Attendees gathered for an opportunity to meet and mingle with other Spartan professionals – new and “seasoned” - and to hear former MSU running back, and current small business owner, Tico Duckett speak on “Business Do’s and Don’ts” and Ken Horvath, Manager of Forest Akers Golf Course touch on how to use golf to benefit your business game plan.
After a successful first year of “MSU & U – Open for Business” networking events, MSU Alumni Club of Mid-Michigan in a joint effort with the MSU Federal Credit Union is back for year two! Held at the Credit Union's main branch located at 600 East Crescent Road, attendees gather for an opportunity to listen to knowledgeable business professionals speak on topics such as business etiquette, marketing your business, and benefiting your business game plan. MSU & U – Open for Business offers a great opportunity to network with other professionals. Be sure to bring your business cards!
